🎉 Wishing you a very Happy New Year 2023!

Turbulence in the wider economy has created a new dynamic for startups, but at Sust Global our product usage has more than doubled in the last 3 months. We have also completed a significant product update, to release this week and are in a great position to grow through the downturn and recovery over the coming 18 months.

Overall, Sust Global is building to breakout success going into 2023 with an ever increasing focus on the urgency of physical risk (and climate justice!) following COP27. Here is our annual round up of

Climate Aware Decisions across Markets at Global Scale

📈 Product Usage

Through 2022, we are seeing a steady uptick on product usage across our customers and Q42022 was our most active months of usage to date.

We see cumulative assets processed as the single most useful metric to track product usage across our different customers. We see this as a unique metric to track because:

  1. Our climate risk assessments enable our customers to revisit the assessments and associated data repeatedly over the course of their subscription
  2. We are seeing derivative usage of the same assets across multiple use-cases. So an increasing number of assets processed for these customers provides them with a larger collection of issuer level physical risk insights to serve their customers
  3. This metric brings together the two dominant usage patterns for our product: API based direct integrations by financial data platforms and self-service usage and engagement for startups, data scientists and advisory businesses

🌍 Geographic usage spread

Our data products have consistent global coverage. The bulk of the physical risk analytics from Sust Global were served over assets in the US. In parallel, we are seeing customers drive usage for global climate analytics in ROW in their operational workflows.

Enabling Risk Quantification and Regulatory Reporting

Sust Global enables financial institutions and the world’s leading market intelligence providers to quantify physical climate risks in financial terms, across all asset types and multiple IPCC climate scenarios. We are seeing particularly strong demand from private market asset managers on due diligence and portfolio assessments.
